Privacy Policy

How OARealm collects, uses, and protects your information, and the choices you have about your data.

Last updated: August 27, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how OARealm LLC ("OARealm," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the OARealm website, mobile applications, and related services (the "Service").

By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information we collect

Account information: when you register, we collect your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form via our authentication provider), and account type (artist or collector).

Content you provide: artwork images, titles, descriptions, gallery organization, comments, and any other content you submit to the Service.

Usage data: we automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service — pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, and approximate location — through analytics tools.

Communications: if you contact us for support or submit a form, we collect the information you provide, including your email address and the contents of your message.

3. How we use your information

We use collected information to: operate and maintain the Service; authenticate your account; display your public profile and artwork; send transactional and account-related emails (such as comment notifications, where you have opted in); respond to support requests; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized usage analysis.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Service providers and third parties

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Service, including Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Resend (transactional email delivery), Vercel (hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring), and PostHog (product analytics). These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.

We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of OARealm, our users, or the public.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as display and theme settings), and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may limit some functionality.

6. Data retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain data for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

You can update your profile information and notification preferences directly from your account settings, or delete individual pieces of content at any time. To exercise other privacy rights or submit a formal data request, email privacy@oarealm.com.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@oarealm.com so we can take appropriate action.

9. International data transfers

OARealm and its service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
